Division Responsibilities
The Planning and Development Services Division is responsible for long range planning and development within the unincorporated County. These responsibilities are carried out by ensuring that all development complies with adopted Salt Lake County plans, ordinances and building codes. Our services include: Business Licensing, Building Permits and Inspections, Code Enforcement, Development Review, Long Range Planning and the County Cooperative Plan.
