The following is a schedule of off-site improvement permit fees that may apply to your project where curb, gutter, and sidewalk are required for approval. A permit shall be obtained prior to the installation of any required improvements. A pre-construction meeting must be held with Engineering Services prior to the commencement of any construction.

  1. Where there is no existing curb and gutter, and design and inspection is done by Engineering Services:
    • Curb, gutter, sidewalk and drive approaches: $200 + $2 per linear foot.
    • Sidewalks only: $200 + $2 per linear foot.
    • Drive approaches only: $130 + $2 per linear foot.
  2. Where there is no existing curb and gutter and design and staking are done by private engineers with checking and inspection done by Engineering Services:
    • Curb, gutter, sidewalk and drive approaches: $150 + $1 per linear foot.
    • Sidewalks only: $100 + $.50 per linear foot.
    • Drive approaches only: $100 + $.50 per linear foot.
  3. Where curb, gutter exists and checking and inspections are done by Engineering Services:
    • Sidewalks with drive approaches: $20 + $1 per linear foot.
    • Drive approaches only: $20 + $1 per linear foot.
  4. No charge for replacement of existing improvements.
  5. Restaking Fee: In the event construction stakes are removed/destroyed and additional restaking or rechecking is required, the developer shall pay a restaking/rechecking fee based on the cost to the County to perform such work. The minimum fee is $100. The maximum fee shall not exceed 75% of the original fee.
